Jacksonville, FL - The Management Agency announces the addition of SKYLINE CIRCLE to its roster of indie artists and bands. The band, based in Enid, OK near Oklahoma City, strives to advance the kingdom of God in the earth through music and to show God's love and grace to all they come in contact with.
Skyline Circle stands for two things that combine into one awesome truth:
1) A circle stands for God because it has no beginning and no end. It never ends. The Bible also talks about how we are the apple of God's eye. We are in His center focus at all times, and no matter what we do, He keeps us in his sites square in the middle, watching over us.
2) The skyline is a circle. 360 degrees of skyline around you, and you are the focus, the dead center of it. It is impossible to get out of the center focus, too. If you've ever tried to reach the skyline, you can't. When you move, it moves with you.
All this to say that the God who is, always was, and always will be has you in His center focus because He loves you. You are the apple of His eye no matter what you do.
On August 24, 2008 Skyline Circle opened for Skillet at the Tulsa Mabee Center. Four thousand people came to the show and it was a great success. "It really opened up opportunities for us. We started getting calls from different youth pastors around Oklahoma to come play for their church."
"We will continue pursuing anything God will lead us to do. As long as God provides we will be here. We do not do this for ourselves. We do this for our Lord and Creator. We feel God has given us these gifts to use as a tool to give back to Him."
After a Music Industry Consultation with the group last week in Oklahoma, TMA was convinced that this up and coming group deserves a lot of attention. "I am impressed with the level of musicality with which the group performs its original material. Nathan's provoking lyrics and driving keys, coupled with Raquel's guitar riffs and Justin's hard-hitting rhythms on percussion creates an awesome balance of music with a real-time message of hope and love," commented Gary Stripling, President & CEO of The Management Agency after his consultation with the group.
"Gary's consultation was very beneficial. He is very laid back, which makes it comfortable, and he knows the business very well. He is extremely honest, and very patient with answering questions that you may have. As for working toward our goals, he was very helpful and very informative. Gary sat us down for about 8 hours and started building a customized schedule with goals to accomplish. He was straight forward with us about our strengths and weaknesses. We look forward to working with Gary and The Managament Agency and are excited about the future." -- Nathan Lauderdale, Skyline Circle.
