MOTHER'S DAY CONDOLENCES: The gospel music world is saddened at the tragic loss of one of its most precious treasures. Dottie Rambo died early Sunday when her tour bus ran off the highway and struck an embankment. Early reports indicate that the accident was weather-related, and that several other passengers aboard the bus were also injured. Dotti Rambo had more than 2,500 published songs, including gospel classics such as "He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need" and the 1982 Gospel Music Association Song of the Year, "We Shall Behold Him." Our prayers go out to the families of all involved in this tragedy.
The Management Agency, Inc. (TMA) is committed to providing the very best in management support for artists, ministries, and other businesses needing professional services so they can focus on what they do best. We have over 23 years' experience in church and ministry business administration, Christian education, and in the management and administration of tours (domestic & international), events of all kinds, non-profit consultation services, and artist administration and management.
We are currently scheduiing Music Industry Consultations for spring and summer '08. The consultation is especially designed for Christian artists needing help in determining their calling as a musician and how that can develop into a career path. Even if you think you can't afford a manager or don't need one right now, if you don't have a plan for success then you won't be successful.
Many times the artist (or band) is not sure if he/she needs a manager, a booking agent, or just a plan (or all three!). We have found that most of the artists who contact us need someone to map out a career plan for them and provide them with the specific steps they need to take to become successful in ministry and in the music industry. Our Music Industry Consultation gives us the opportunity to do this and much more!
"Right away Gary seemed more like a friend than a business associate. He really wanted to know what we were all about and where we were headed. He gave us a thorough, customized plan to help us achieve our goals. I would recommend him to any artist who wants to make the most of his talent." Dan Emmons, Reverential, following the band's Music Industry Consultation on February 22-23, 2008.
"We were very excited to come aboard with Gary and are looking forward to what is ahead for us. We believe that it is what we needed to do to take our ministry and our music to the next level, and we believe that is God's plan for us as well. We really got a lot out of the consultation with him. Even if you do nothing more than the consultation, you will have invested your time and money wisely. He was very thorough and he custom designed the consultation to fit OUR individual needs--that was great. He really made us feel like we'd known him our whole life." Rachael Streifel, Manager for City of David following our Music Industry Consultation on March 7-8, 2008
Our Music Industry Consultation will at least provide you with a road-map to help you prepare for your future in the music industry! Click here for more information about these consultations.
